The Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, in collaboration with "Credit Oman," organized a course on customs procedures and tariffs and their relation to taxes and restrictions on goods.
The event will kick off on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the Liwa Center for Science and Innovation, and will continue until July 30 with the participation of several exporters and Omani companies.
The program aims to enhance the efficiency of dealing with modern customs systems and to avoid errors that may affect the smooth flow of trade.
Expert Ali Al-Fazari presented a course on customs procedures and tariffs and their relationship with taxes and restrictions on goods.
Ahmad Al-Farsi from "Credit Oman" also reviewed the company's role in supporting exports and the importance of securing credit to reduce commercial and non-commercial risks.
This program is part of the ministry's efforts to raise exporters' awareness and improve companies' readiness to face trade and customs challenges.
